Position Description

Position: Sales Engineer
Department: Sales
Location: Cyberserv Headquarters, Vienna, VA
Status: Full Time

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the quality and success of technical pre-sales activities for Cyberserv and/or its partners.
  • Strong understanding of application solution sales and the ability to coordinate with account executives or partners at various stages of the sales process to understand and affect account strategy.
  • Analysis of complex problems of diverse scope where understanding of situation or data requires an in-depth review of potentially difficult-to-identify factors. Judgment must be exercised within loosely defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
  • In-depth technical understanding and ability to demonstrate and present all of Cyberserv's core CRM product offerings.
  • Strong and ongoing understanding of the CRM business and market domains, the strategic value of Cyberserv's offerings in those areas and competitive strengths and weaknesses.

Skill Sets And Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
  • 6-8 years related vendor experience (sales support, training, help desk, etc).
  • Experience with application and strategic solution selling.
  • Excellent understanding of the CRM / Contact Center Solutions market spaces.
  • Knowledge of Unix, Windows 9x, and Windows NT.
  • Knowledge of major databases (Sybase, Oracle, MS-SQL, Informix).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

Additional Skill Set Required

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent ability to understand and explain related technical issues.
  • Excellent knowledge of company products and all common application integrations.
  • Strong work ethic with high degree of integrity.
  • Strong professional presence.
  • Team player.
